Short track skating has evolved immensely over the past few years. Athletes are reaching higher speeds and pushing the limits of their equipment on the ice surface.
The quest for more stability and safety has lead to a call from athletes for higher blade cups, in order to minimize boot contact with the ice in corners. Skate-Tec’s line of M-Wave blades answers this call.
The ST M-Wave Flex Blade offers superior grip while maintaining high levels of control and feel. The Flex version is very responsive – you will feel the blade turning in the ice for you and generating pressure. Great for lighter skaters (generally less than 160 pounds) or those who like to feel the blade working for them. Featuring our proprietary M-technology cupping system. Three attachment points offer increased rigidity, more stability and control while cornering and an overall better feel.

- Please note: standard pillar height for the M-Wave Flex is 1 mm higher than Evo’s previous blade models. Therefore a +4 on an M-Wave Flex is the equivalent of a +5 on an Evo. A -1 on an M-Wave Flex is the equivalent of a 0 on an Evo. If you are interested in something other than 0, please let us know, we have various cup sizes in stock.
